PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Course Description

Logical reasoning tests (also known as critical reasoning tests) are designed to assess a candidate's ability at skills such as how to interpret patterns, number sequences or the relationships between shapes.

A logical reasoning test is a form of psychometric testing that is widely used by corporate employers to help assess candidates during their recruitment process.

Logical reasoning tests measure your ability to attend to detail, evaluate information, and make judgments or decisions. These tests are usually described as nonverbal reasoning tests since they do not present you with verbal or numerical information but instead with shape sequences and the logical patterns that they represent.

However, it's important to note that the term "logical reasoning" is also used to describe verbal logical reasoning tests, which assess the candidates' ability to read and understand complicated texts and, most importantly, to utilize critical thinking skills to draw conclusions and recognize important facts.
